15 Up-And-Coming Best Robot Vacuum For Carpet Bloggers You Need To Be Keeping An Eye On

The Best Robot Vacuum For Carpet

If you have low or high-pile carpet there’s a robotic vacuum for you. These smart devices navigate your home automatically clean up debris and clean under furniture.

A lot of them come with advanced features, like mapping, which helps them navigate your home and recall furniture placement. They can also increase suction power to clear dirtier areas.

iRobot Roomba 694″

The Roomba 694 by iRobot is an entry-level robot vacuum that performs well on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It has good suction however it has trouble with larger particles such as grains of rice or sand. It also does a decent job of cleaning pet hair but it’s not impervious to tangling as premium Roomba models such as the I6 or j7.

The Roomba 694 is simple to use. It has three buttons on the top cover. ‘Clean,’ which initiates a cleaning session and ‘Dock’, which puts it in its charging station, and „Spot,” which initiates an individualized cleaning. You can control it using a smartphone application that allows you to schedule cycles, stop and start the cycle and change settings. You can also connect the device to smart home devices like Alexa or Google Assistant to control it through voice commands.

This vacuum is a little slower than others, but it is still able to get into the most crevices and corners. It has a huge dust bin which is ideal to reduce the frequency at the frequency you have to empty it. It is compatible with digital mapping and virtual barriers which allows you to program the robot to stay out of certain areas or to stop cleaning completely to stop it from becoming stuck.

While it’s not the best model for its price however, it’s superior to many other alternatives. The Roborock E4 has a better cleaning efficiency than the Roomba 694, and it can clean both carpets with a low pile and bare. It also follows a more efficient cleaning path and has a longer battery life. It is also more comfortable to use, has fewer parts that require regular maintenance, costs less to own over its lifetime and charges faster than the 694.

It’s also worth taking a look at other, more premium models within the iRobot line, such as the 981 or the v7. The v7 and 981 are more expensive, but have significant improvements in cleaning performance both on low and bare pile floors. They also have a bigger dirt compartment, charge faster, move more easily and are easier to pair with smart home devices.

Shark RV1001AE IQ

This budget self-emptying robotic vacuum cleaner does an excellent job on carpets with low piles and hard flooring. Its combo brush reaches into corners and edges, and it automatically increases suction when it detects carpet. It also does an excellent job of cleaning dirt from carpets in the middle of the pile. The IQ’s tiny footprint for docks and its self-emptying feature are nice touches. However, if you want to change floor levels on the map or set no-go zones, you’ll have manually reset it to do this, which can be a bit of trouble.

The IQ app offers some advanced mapping and automated features, however it lacks no-go zones. They are only available on iRobot robots. The smart-pathing technology allows for greater maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is very effective, although it can get caught in rug tassels.

In our tests, the IQ was adept at handling pet hair effectively, clearing huge amounts of debris from floors with no flooring and fair amounts of medium-pile carpet. It was a little less effective on shag carpet, where it struggled to reach dirt and dust buried in the fibers. It was capable of maneuvering around the legs of chairs and tight spaces as well as the base of a wooden IKEA step stool. We did notice it was a little slower on floors with no flooring however it soon recovered speed and performed better than the other robots we tested.

The IQ is a more suitable option for most users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin and lasts longer on a charge, and does a better job of getting around obstacles. It also comes with mopping attachments that are able to handle sticky debris. On the other side, the iRobot feels better-built and has fewer components that require replacement or maintenance and incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance and creates virtual no-go zones through its companion app. It is able to continue cleaning where it left off even if its battery runs out before it’s finished. The iRobot can also be controlled via voice, which is a huge benefit for many users.

Eufy 11S

The RoboVac 11S by eufy isn’t exactly the most feature-rich robot vacuum around, but it does offer great cleaning power for a low price. This vacuum was made for those who are budget conscious and don’t need a complex mapping system, or an app, to control it. The robot is capable of running for up to an hour and includes an remote, cleaning tool, AC power adapter, charging base and extra filters.

The 11S is slim and elegant and has a tempered glass upper deck that appears like the brushed appearance of aluminum. It’s a nice stylistic different from Roomba, Samsung, and Neato designs that are more industrial and utilitarian.

In our tests, the eufy11S was extremely effective at removing larger debris and fine dust on hard floors. It struggled to deep clean medium and high-pile carpets. The device is prone of bumping into people and furniture in its course. However, it can detect obstacles using sensors. When it comes across them, it stops and lets out a loud beep so you can manually guide it through the obstacle before getting it back to work.

The BoostIQ mode is another fantastic feature of the eufy11S. It lets you set the Robot Vacuum Mops up to automatically adjust suction strength based upon the floor type and the amount of the mess. It’s also easy to use the remote to direct the 11S where you’d like it to move.

Single Room Mode is a great alternative if you have a small amount of furniture in the room you’d like to vacuum. The eufy will spend 30 minutes focusing on cleaning the area it is assigned to.

Edge Cleaning is another option that reduces the time that is spent on each area to just 20 minutes. This will extend battery life. This option allows the eufy to move in a spiraling pattern cleaning edges and corners.

Miele Complete C1

The Miele Complete C1 is an excellent mid-range robot vacuum that can be a great performer on carpet. Its performance is also excellent on floors with no floor. It is able to remove rice and other fine debris with ease. The suction power doesn’t drop as the dirt bin fills. Its allergy-friendly design and air-sealed body traps allergens and keeps your family healthy. It has an onboard HEPA filter and a self-emptying bin, so you don’t have to buy additional filters or a separate bag for your vacuum.

It’s not as powerful as other models, but is still excellent for deep cleaning and tackling staining. It comes with two cameras in front that provide live feeds to your smartphone. It also has one of the most advanced obstacle avoidance systems. It also has a big dustbin, long runtime and a quick and smooth clean-up.

In contrast to other robots, unlike other robots, the Complete C1 can switch between the standard powerhead and the turbo head to accommodate different floor types. The turbo head is best on low-pile or high-pile carpeting while the standard powerhead is ideal for bare floors and light carpets. It also features an automatic height adjustment system that allows it to adjust to different kinds of flooring without manual adjustments.

The model comes with a SBD 285-3 Classic Combination Floorhead that can handle hard floors as well as medium-pile carpeting. The motor can also be easily maneuvered and can reach hard-to-reach areas. It comes with five different adjustments to the surface and a switch that stops the brushroll to prevent tangled hairs.

The Classic C1 also has a self-cleaning brush roll as well as an UtraClean mode that goes back and forth over the same area three times to ensure the best possible clean and a self-emptying bin that can be emptied with the push of one button. The sound level of this model is greater than other models. However its powerful motor of 1,200 watts and sturdy construction make it worth the additional cost.

If you’re willing to pay an extra amount then the Miele Complete C3 canister robot vacuum is a great all-around robot vacuum. It is more effective on carpets than the Classic C1. It performs better on all floor types and is more solidly constructed and comes with an HEPA filter.
